JBL Clip 5 Ultra-Portable Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, Pink
The Clip 5 is JBL’s smallest carry-anywhere speaker, built for music that travels. It weighs 285 g and sits in one hand.
JBL Pro Sound from a 45 mm driver A single 45 mm transducer works with a passive radiator to deliver 7 W RMS and more bass than the cabinet suggests. Frequency response runs from 95 Hz to 20 kHz, so vocals stay clear outdoors.
A carabiner that is part of the speaker The redesigned carabiner is fully integrated into the body rather than bolted on, and the opening is much wider than before. It goes over a rucksack strap, a belt loop or a shower rail in one movement.
Up to 12 hours, plus 3 more on demand A single charge gives up to 12 hours of playback. Tap Playtime Boost to add up to 3 hours, and it retunes itself for louder, crisper output. The 5.32 Wh battery refills over USB-C in about 3 hours.
IP67 waterproof and dustproof Sealed against dust and built to be submerged rather than merely splashed. Poolsides, showers and beaches are all fair game, and it rinses clean under a tap.
Auracast and stereo pairing Pair two Clip 5 units for stereo sound, or use Auracast to link it with other Auracast-enabled JBL speakers so one track fills a bigger space. Bluetooth 5.3 handles the phone link, with A2DP 1.4 and AVRCP 1.6.
JBL Portable app The free app adds EQ presets and a fully adjustable equaliser for highs, mids and lows, plus firmware updates. The speaker itself is made in part with post-consumer recycled plastic and recycled fabric for the grille.

Clip it on and forget it is there.
285 grams of speaker with the carabiner moulded into the body. It goes over a rucksack strap in one movement and stays there for a full day out.
Rain, pool, shower. All fine.
IP67 waterproof and dustproof, so a soaking is a non-event. Hang it off the shower rail, take it down to the beach, then rinse the sand off under a tap.
